Two different things you need to consider here. First is the current load you need to get moving. It sounds to me like you have hit that discomfort point where it is time for something to happen. Switch from drinking water to apple juice, and mix in Mirolax once or twice a day until it happens. One hour you will feel like your abdomen is full up to your chin, then the next hour you will feel a literal downward movement. When that happens, clear the wife and kids out of the house for about an hour. Have a plunger and some baby wipes handy, and get after it. Just for fun, weigh yourself before and after and post your results.
Second point of concern is going forward after the big clean out. I'd highly recommend Metamucil. This is not really a laxative in that it doesn't necessarily make you go. It just loads up everything in a moving van as opposed to one carload at a time. I take two tablespoons nightly between dinner and bedtime. Get the sugar free variety because nobody needs to add more sugar on a nightly routine. Also the Costco brand saves you a ton of money.
All that said - if you get to 5 or 6 days without your initial movement, you probably need to seek medical attention. Be warned, the first attempt to cure is called manual disimpaction. Use your imagination, and you won't be far off reality. Find a tiny doctor with thin fingers. Thank you Best of luck to you Sir! If you want to keep score, my number was 14 lbs. I got backed up when taking pain pills while waiting on my back surgery. 5 days worth got cleaned out in about a 30 minute period. If my back wasn't broke I would have felt like a brand new person.

He worked it out with a pencil.

Since this is causing so much discomfort leap out there and find an enema hydrotherapy clinic (yes this a thing).

I drink so much water the lake level is going down. No constipation issues.

Used to have it bad. There were time I would go 6 or 7 days without a movement. Simple solution. Eat 6 dried prunes a day.
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

Well since this is a fishing forum will keep this remedy in line... get a bottle of Mineral Oil, do a couple of shots and let it do it’s magic... get the odorless version so you can pour a cap full into a ziplock full of your favorite soft plastics to keep them nice and oily and not sticking together...

for about the last 90 days it has been bad, horrible, words can't even describe. I have tried EVERYTHING with little to no relief. If you have a secret cure I am listening. I go see a GI Dr on the 31st but that's a LONG ways away. It's getting to the point where I can only sleep a couple hours per night. Did you ask to be on their call list. In case someone cancels?

Yes, but she said that's a big list also.

the stuff works too good. I took five caps of mirolax yesterday at 9am per dr order. I just got my Drip Drops that Mark Perry recommended in. I've only had one so far but man that made my dehydration feeling get better in a flash.
