I have had issues for years, but kind of the opposite. Pooped at least 4 times a day. Did lots of reading, and most common theme was to get the digestive tract healthy. I started taking GutBIO, puts the right bacteria in your digestive tract with Pre, Pro and Postbiotics. Now I am very regular and am actually maintaining weight for the first time in 2 decades. I don't know if this will solve constipation, but it has done wonders for me in terms of having regular movements.

Drinking a little pool water will also give you the trots. Lots of watermelon, pool water poo.

A little undercooked chicken will empty you out in more ways than one.

Hope it's nothing serious. Pain pills are the only thing that will stop me up. Otherwise you can set your clock by me hitting the bathroom at 5:45am every morning.

Have you been taking any pain pills? Those things will plug me up as bad as putting a 5 inch cork in a 1/2 inch hole.

Milk of magnesia. My Grandmother swore by it and I can attest it works. Magnesium stimulates the blood vessels in the bowels so that they can "contract and relax" which makes your bowels move. Start with 2 tablespoons and work up from there.

Also take a magnesium supplement everyday.

I bet I haven't had a single pain pill in 5 years of any kind. The GI cocktail they gave me had lidocaine in it and made me feel tired, not even sure why it was given to me.

Rue has dealt with this for a few years. The Fleet suppositories work fairly well with her.
