I love the logic of the guy turning in his guns who said “they drive down the street behind our house and just bang, bang, bang, bang into the air.”

Or, some enterprising person could make thousands of dollars off of this stupid offer.

I wish I had a 3d printer. I would have made some quick money in Houston at the Mayor's July 30 buy back too. The story I heard about that photo is that the guy printed a lot of "ghost guns" and sold them to the city for about $9k worth of gift cards.

If you want to curb crime, pursue the criminals. Not one of the many tools they use. Especially when that tool has more legitimate uses than illegitimate uses. That seems to be a difficult concept for a certain political cult to grasp.

Local news just reported about this. It cost him $2 per gun to make. He did this just to make a point of how they are wasting tax payer dollars.

Mayor said they paid because they specifically didn’t exclude these type guns.

More stunts by dem cities.

Not only that if any of the firearms were used in the commision of a crime since the buy back was anonymous the city has allowed someone with evidence to walk away and paid them.

A town in India had a king cobra problem. Their libs (it had to be) offered a reward for all king cobras brought in. People started breeding them so they could take ‘em in and make money. When the town realized what was happening they cancelled the program. So the breeders just let all their captive king cobras go, and the town ended up with more than double the amount they had than when the whole Charlie Foxtrot started.

And then the peasants voted in a smarter, richer, more handsome liberal mayor who thought if they just taxed everyone twice as much, that'd they have even more money to buy back snakes, thus eliminating the problem for ever and ever, even quicker, and everyone lived happily.. bang
