Sounds good buddy, good luck! It has always been a dream of mine to have a pond right in my back yard. Wish you the best!

haha mine to. but this thing is almost a puddle. we are actually thinking about putting cover and new structure in a neiborhood pond. were thinkin about putting pads and cattails around the shoreline to keep from all the shore fisherman keeping bass out of it. going to check with the builder first though. should be ok and by next spring we'll be expecting a few 7-10 pounders in it

in the free section on craigslist.com there was someone giving away all kinds of pond plants. all you had to do was come pick them up

You're right, Dude. In your situation it may be unlikely others will remove plants from the same location. However, problems arise when word spreads people can obtain "free" plants from a particular site, lots of people removing one or two plants can add up to a severe depletion of resources. I'm not trying to be preachy, just want everyone to think about the possible consequences of their actions. cool thanks. but okie if i take a cattail and lilly pad or two from a place with hundreds i dont think itll hurt it
