I have a 2017 Ford Fusion that needs tires. The last set I got was Michelin Primacy. They are supposed to be 55K tires. They didn't make 29K even though I rotated and balanced the tires during scheduled maintenance. Two of the tires are at 2/32 and one is at 3/32 tread depth. The other is newer because my wife hit a curb. I'm very disappointed in these tires. They were touted as being a very quiet tire but that was not the case. Most of our driving is highway. I want good handling, good stopping and quiet ride. Any suggestions based on first hand experience?

Pirelli P Zero. Put a set on my wife’s car and they are impressive. Her last set of Goodyear Eagle “eco” tires were ok too.

I just tell the guy at Walmart I need tires and then I go look at the fishing stuff until they call my name.

About 15 years ago I got Pirellis to replace the original tires on my Outback, which were done after 30k miles. The Pirellis were rated at 85k miles and they actually lasted that long.

When is the last time you've had an alignment done on the car?

Continentals. Always.

Look at the reviews on Hankook tires. Bought some for my moms car and they have been excellent so far!

Discount Tire in Tyler.

I would complain. Discount are good about adjusting price for the next set.

Overinflated, underinflated? Unusual wear pattern? When was the last time you had a four wheel alignment?

The tire wear was consistent. Inflation was spot on because the car has a digital tire pressure readout that is always displayed. As for the balance and rotation, it was done once at Discount Tire and the rest of the time st the Ford dealer as a part of my normal service. I think Discount Tire would not give me credit because the Ford dealer did the rotation and balance.

hankook or falken, I have run a bunch of different brands and those 2 have stood out for mileage and no problems.

we had hankook on a galloper (hyundai suv) in costa rica, didn't even show wear when it got sold with about 45k on it.

the falken at I have on the truck are going to outlast their warranty at 55k (impressive for a 4x4 truck) and have been great in water etc.

either should have some good tires for what you want.

My Sonata came with the Pirelli. Do not get the Pirelli! They are LOUD! Great grip, but LOUD! The Firestone Firehawks are a better substitute for the Prielli, at least on my Sonata.
