self checkout simplified my life a whole lot, seems to take about half the time and my stuff is bagged right. win, win!

tractor supply is now doing it as well, not so sure about that one yet.

The WM near us switched to self-checkout this past year. They do have a few "assisted" lanes but they are never open. Don't go there very often. WM is my last option when searching for a product.

I prefer self checkout Walmart and Kroger seem to do zero training on how to check and properly bag groceries.

I used to hate it but they have forced it on the consumer. Nothing better than paying sky high prices for your food and then get to work harder at decreasing the store's labor so they can pocket more cha-ching.

This is my issue with it….if I’m going to be doing a job one of your employees used to get paid to do, where is my discount on my receipt…?

Most Sheeple aren’t saying a word about it…it’s ridiculous…and its not just gonna be Wal Mart

Which is why I shop at Publix. The difference in cost is not that much when buying groceries for two people.

I do agree it makes sense for folks who use the self-checkout to get a small discount.

I need to learn to quit double scanning things, never fails, go to move something to bag it and it gets the scan again. seems like once a trip.
and the age verification, they don't even ask for id any more, it hurts a little. ya know?

If you dye your hair green or purple the self checkout works much better.

Thanks, Billy

I agree with this sentiment.
