Big Papi, David Ortiz, got inducted into the Baseball HOF today ,

Some might not be much of a fan of his but I really enjoyed watching him play the game and being a key part of three World Series teams is quite impressive.

Back around 2015, I was on a business trip and got to go to a game at Fenway Park and see the "Green Monster", something we always talked about as a kid.
While sitting there enjoying a Beer and Fenway frankfurter I thought the only thing to make this any better would be home run by Big Papi.
Next inning he delivered one into right field bleachers. Delivered in the clutch, just like the playoffs and WS.

Well deserved. He was a great to the game.

Big Papi had a great career. Remember him spoiling many a night for the Rangers. Checked his career stats against the Rangers and he hit .295; 33 of his 500+ HR’s; and 109 RBI’s in 129 games.
(his 1st MLB HR was against the Rangers ….. at age 21 when he was with the Minnesota Twins)
