I have over 35 tie-on skirts in different colors and patterns, but keep on coming back to the basic black or black & blue for jigs, but do tie on some of the patterns you show in the videos. Same for jig trailers: a few colors will do - trailer design most important. Knowing when to use certain color patterns is beyond my skirted lure expertise whether for jigs or spinnerbaits. Still, jigs and spinnerbaits seem to do better than Texas rigged worms much of the time for bass.

I wish someone made a blue fleck skirt material. I am not talking just the usual purple with blue flake. I am talking tge dark, dark purple with blue fleck similar to the Berkley soft plastic bait color blue fleck.
