Has anyone added a 2nd Pedestal Hole to a Skeeter. I have a 2021 FXR 21 that I would like to add another hole 3 or 4 inches closer to the Trolling Motor Pedal.

What about changing the seat to one of those pummel style...they're longer and wider?

Or

Get one of the attachments that allows you to move the seat forward more?

Or

Get a tilt style bracket?

I've seen several ideas on bay boats that might give you that extra few inches you're looking for.

Easy to do, but requires removing and recarpeting.

Thanks for the Idea’s Guys.
Bill -I will check on that Spring Field Pole. I have never seen one like that. That might work. I have the Skeeter Seat that slides in a Bracket Forward a Few Inches already. I am Old and can’t stand all day anymore without leaning on the seat.

My FXR20 came with a adjustable slider underneath the seat. I'm long legged and hardly ever use the pedistal and gave the adjusting part to a friend that has an FXR21. Solved his issue and he loves it. You might check with your dealer and see if you can get one or order on online.

I should have read to the end. looks like you already have the slider.

As I mentioned I am getting older and fish sitting down casting half the time. I am 6’ tall and standing up with the adjustable sliding seat I am fine. When sitting I have to stretch my leg to reach the pedal. I notice some boats come with 2 pedestal holes. Wish this Boat did. I have a call into SpringField to see if their Curve Pedestal will work. That seems to be the easiest solution to try.
Thanks for everybody’s input.

I'm old too. This pedestal works great for me and my smaller bass boat. Gives me more room on the front deck and also lets me move forward to get to my front depth finder. I've had mine for 10-12 years.

Check out the Millennium Marine seats. I switched to their seat and find it a lot more comfortable for my back and a lot cooler in the summer.
