Looking at buying a boat with a new Suzuki motor never had one any pros or cons

If you live near a good service center, they're solid motors. Not going to win any races, but they are living a long time. The oyster and crab guys are about 1/2 zuke and yamahas, they put more hours on a motor in a year than you'll put on in a lifetime.

There good dependable motors. Only and biggest problems is finding someone or dealership to work on

And to be clear, getting a four stroke zuke serviced is pretty simple, a two stroke? Good luck.
