Didn’t you have that home built or was it brand new when you moved in? If so you should have a 10 year guarantee (warranty) on the slab. The ones I have had specified what type of crack was covered. Hairline cracks were not covered. this is in his shop, not his home.

My shop has rebar and is thick. Real thick. It has several cracks.

You only get two guarantees with concrete. One it will get hard. And two it will crack. I always said there were three - it goes down wet, dries hard and cracks.

Do you have plants or trees you water around your shop
Dry weather takes water out of the ground causing it to sink at different rates which is what causes these heat cracks as hop said keep it watered or don’t water at all and hope the foundation raises and lowers at same rate around your foundation if not it will crack from stress to different levels of foundation raising
