I saw Evel Knievel do a jump there. Went there many times in the late 60's and 70's.

Ha Ha...first race. 155.17 mph. Now it seems drag cars do that before the 60 ft mark. lol

They were running dragster, called Blackhawk...

Back in the day we could hear the cars in Grapevine when they ran over there.

Nine Acres was pretty popular back in HS for us GHS folks. Setups provided, BYOB.
