bull shoals or beavers bend lakes in arkansas for striper, while up there hit the white river for a guided trout trip, some big browns and rainbows can be had.
go over to table rock for small mouth and large mouth.
broken bow in se Okieland for smallmouth is good too, trout in the river below but they are stockers.
texoma for striper, smallmouth, largemouth, white bass, the white bass at night can be a riot when they come to lights.
lake arbuckle, mcgee creek, sardis in Okieland for some great spring fishing.
guadalupe river for trout but it is pretty low for now, check cfs and if you can float it guadalupe bass as well.
if you want to travel, costa rica, west coast for bill fish, tuna, rooster fish, snook, etc. email some guides (simple search on google) and see what is happening. east coast for big Tarpon, manzanillo on the far south end at panama border, sixahola river and north the colorado river, either place is thick with bull sharks as well. caught spanish mackerel, jack crevalle and other species as well.

If I could go to just one location, it would be Venice, Louisiana.
Fresh, brackish, and saltwater all in one place.
I’d go in October, just after Hurricane season for big bull reds.

In no particular order. Also posted more saltwater suggestions in the saltwater section
Alaska and/or British Columbia fly in to a remote coastal fishing camp. Salmon, halibut, rockfish just offshore in saltwater. From camp, take a floatplane to rivers for steelhead and to high mountain lakes to fish for trout. Some fly in lakes rarely get fished.
Lake of the Woods, Ontario - Smallmouth and walleye, shorelunch prepped by your guide
Weeklong wilderness paddling/camping trip into the 2 million acre Quetico Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada. Outstanding smallmouth and walleye
Floatplane trip to a remote lodge or your own lake and cabin from Atikokan, Canada
Guided largemouth bass trips to Sam Rayburn and Lake Fork in Texas
Guided bass trips to Lake Okeechobee and Stick Marsh/Headwaters in Florida

Some good suggestions here. I'll throw in ice fishing. I hate cold weather, but it's on my bucket list. Rent an ice fishing shack and post up with some beers and a buddy.

You have to go to Lake Monroe in norther Canada. 55”+ Northern Pike till your arms wanna fall off…then hit the deeper stuff for 3 FOOT long Lake Trout. Use medium heavy gear with a 3500 size reel. Load up about 200 yards of 30lb braid and let the reel sing. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2022/08/full-93588-150478-bc91eee3_9243_467d_85b0_6e9a5520be17.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2022/08/full-93588-150480-914faf0a_fa98_4b52_b9ab_717d18bd3b4a.jpeg)
