My wife and I just purchased a new RV and are anxious to go to a lake and just relax. We both love to fish and are in hopes we may find a lake where we can set up close to the shore and just fish for anything. Anyone know of such a location?

Thanks for any thoughts!

Right now all the lakes are soo you might have a problem finding any place. I know when my family wants to get away we go to Lake Lewisville... Here is a link... http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/fishboat/fish/recreational/lakes/lewisville/access.phtml

Thanks for the idea. We are looking to go in the 1st part of Aug so I'm in hopes the water levels and weather straighten out by then.

More thoughts anyone ? Thanks again

Get out of the city, head to a hidden jewel, Purtis Creek will allow you some nice bank fishing, clean air, and no near by paved roads to listen to cars passing by.

There are tons of spots to take an RV and camp. I'd do some internet research and then ask questions on specifec locations.
