went to conroe yesterday afternoon ,i wanted to get into some catfish and find a crappie hole but i struck out on both and i was needing a pull really bad so i grabbed up my ultralights and changed gears. I went up the Atkins creek arm fished the highline poles crossing the lake and bang it was on. I was using crappie nibbles in white, bluegills, longears, green sunfish & redears were willing to give a pull. Conroe has always been a good perch lake.

Hey CrappieCat#1 have you ever tried the 1087 bridge over Lake Conroe in the river channel. If a fella aint care he catch a good mess of cats.
