Just got the back acre mowed and storm came in with 40 mph winds and major lightning. Already blew down a fence panel and destroyed some of the wife’s yard deco. She never learns and keeps putting out stuff that is not secured. Last storm had a wind downburst that took a concrete statue weighing about 30 lbs and threw it about 15 feet across the driveway. Looking at a lot of cleanup.

We are actually lucky because the radar shows 90% of the storms breaking north or south of us due to terrain. We only get hit with 1 out of 10 or so and the sandy soil means no flooding

We got a nice little rain here in Greenville. Hoping to get some more.
Gust front must have been good. Hearing a few reports on the scanner of trees and limbs down.

Forgot to mention I am in Smith County south of Tyler. Still lots of lightning at 10 am. Went out to work on the fence and turned right around

Rained big time in the Liquor city for about 20 minutes. Heavy rain, thunder and some small hail particles.

Coming down good here in Waxahachie. Got caught in it in Ferris and drove back to Waxahachie right in it. Lots of wind, lightning, and rain with a little hail mixed in. I will take it though. Maybe the doors in my house will start shutting right again.

Raining here in GP right now. Several thunder bumpers sounded pretty close.
