Just found out my very first friend outside of my family was killed in a wreck on Friday.
Our families moved next door to each other in 1964.
There’s just absolutely nothing we didn’t do together.
He was two years older than me so I always tagged along like a little brother.
My heart hurts for him. He had a really tough life. He just never could get a break.
So I’ve lost my mom, my daughter in law, and my lifelong friend within a little over a year.
Life can really kick you in the gut.
RIP MY FRIEND
You deserve it.

Been through this. Offer to speak at the funeral. Speak of the childhood it will help you and the family
call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.
