Lake Havasu is the finest crappie fishing lake on the Colorado River. Crappie fishing is good in late winter and early spring. Mainly night feeders, crappies are attracted to light; for that reason, many people like to fish for them after dinner off a dock.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

I believe the Lampasas River runs into Stillhouse Lake.
Colorado runs into Buchanan. And the rest of the Highland lakes.

Thank you leaning post. I WISH we had stopped to fish. We dropped off a car in Event TX.(I think that's how you spell it). We just passed right over the lakes😪

There are crappie in nearly every body of water in texas that I can think of. I bet if you could find some nice brush in a river bend or at a creek mouth you’d catch a few.

Yep, there are crappie in the Colorado... I grew up fishing it and the Concho. You might be surprised how few lakes were stocked with white Crappie...
