Headed to Lake Murray in Ardmore area of Oklahoma. Is there anything I need to worry about as far as running the lake? Thanks in advance

Most humps have buoys on them. It's pretty safe

Yes! There are some HUGE boulders just under the surface of the water. Not all of them are marked. Particularly near the point across from the Lake Murray Marina. Not sure what the lake level is right now so they may be visible if it's low.
"Life is a matter of luck and the odds of success are in no way enhanced by extreme caution." - Erich Topp, German U-boat Commander, 1943.
When in doubt, set the hook.

Swing wide on ALL OF THE POINTS. There is a shallow area to the east out of the marina as well. Good Luck.

HDVS That is quite possibly the most inaccurate statement I have seen in a while. Do not get close to shore while running. There is at least three different rock formations less than 1 foot deep out in the middle of big coves, that are not marked. I know of 3 boats within last couple weeks that were a total loss. Feel free to message me if you want locations of danger areas. Lived in Ardmore 40 plus years, still have houseboat up there.

On another note, Smallies have been schooled up by the Damn chasing schools of ghost minnows. Little fish but still fun to catch

Was there years ago and another bass boat hit one of the big boulders close to shoreline and threw the occupants out of the boat one of the occupants was cut badly by the prop as they didn't have their kill switch on and the boat hit him.
stay clear of shore lines at any speed higher than idle is my advice
PM me to let me know how it was!

Pay attention to your maps on your graph and swing wide on points

A little common sense on running close to the bank on a rocky lake goes a long ways.
