What’s the rumor on the lake release? My bud was told that they are releasing again, curious if anyone has any info.

You can check it yourself. There's a USGS flow gauge below the dam near Del Rio.

https://waterdata.usgs.gov/tx/nwis/uv/?site_no=08451800&PARAmeter_cd=00065,00060

And here's the link to all of the USGS gauges in Texas.

Yes, I know that, guess I didn’t ask correctly. I was curious if anyone knew how much they were planning on releasing.

Man that’s gonna suck if it goes all the way to 65’ low. Have you heard any rumors about them closing Diablo down? My buddy was told that, but don’t ever know what’s true and not.

Keep it up and we’ll come out there to drain all of your lakes into ours!

I bet some of the locals who have survived until this point are sure getting nervous. I feel for them.

They cut the releases in half about 24 hours ago.. But what they're turning loose and we're turning loose won't hold either one of us level..

And there is no telling what they will do in the near future.. About ten years ago I had someone from IBWC standing on the other side of my sales counter, and we were talking about water levels, usage, and what the lakes were for.. And he told me that they don't care if another fish is ever caught out of the lake.. And I believe em..

Until a true catastrophe happens, Amistad and Falcon are in for more hard times..

Anybody want to buy a nice building in a good location in Zapata?

No doubt at this point it will take a miracle or catastrophe.

People fail to realize that this lake like most others were built for water supplies. Fishing is just a biproduct.
