I have progressive and I'm very happy with it. When I broke my lower unit on Fork, Progressive had a guy at the shop writing a check the next day. My rates have gone down every year. I have an agreed value policy.

Progressive here. Had my first ever claim this year. Didn’t have to pay a deductible since I’d been with them for so long with no claims. Easy process. I could probably find something cheaper but I don’t mind paying a little more for good service and no hassles. -Coach

That's good to hear! I have Foremost insurance and made a minor personal injury claim last year. Foremost paid the unusual claim eagerly and quickly. However, my premium went up 33+% at renewal "due to rising rates and your medical claim." My claim was only $1,200.00. I paid two years of premiums before last year with no claims.

Bob with Worldwide Marine been with them for 25+ years I have had insurance with Progressive through Worldwide Marine for 3 years now. I recently did a house/car/boat comparison with several other companies. No one could beat Progressive. JMO.

I use Bo Miller with Texas Farm Bureau out of Nacogdoches. He's excellent.
I deal with claims every day, and without a doubt Progressive is the hardest to deal with. They deny more claims than anyone else combined. If you have a black and white claim, they're not problem, but if you have ANY grey area in how they think something occured to your boat, they'll deny in a heartbeat. Been through this for years. Geico is next hardest. Almost as bad.
State Farm and Texas Farm Bureau are great with claims. Foremost, Traveler's, and All State have also done our customers a good job, no complaints with their claims process. Bonus for Traveler's, they have a mechanical clause if you wanna pay for it. Safeco is iffy.
MAKE SURE YOU GUYS HAVE AGREED VALUE POLICIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can’t recommend Progressive. My pristine Bass Tracker was totaled when my idiot neighbor emptied his BBQ pit’s live coals in a trash can, caught fence on fire and spread to my boat. When adjuster came by he started off by telling me he was late for his child’s baseball game in Waco and was there less than 2 minutes. When claim was processed, they offered thousands less than the boat was valued. I had plans of trading my boat in the near future so I was well aware of what the fair market value, with evaluations in hand. They still argued about price. I sent them a dozen comparable of the same model, year and condition to mine. 3 months of excuses from Progressive and still only low ball offers. The only reason I accepted their payment is my burned up boat was still on the premises and my landlord wanted it moved. I was not a new customer, having insured 3 boats with Progressive over about 21 years and had never filed a claim.I would run, not walk from Progressive.

Purchased my policy from Worldwide Marine Underwriters last year....the insurance was Progressive. When I needed them for Roadside Assistance, they said I was not covered even though I specifically asked about the service before buying the policy. Terrible customer service...will not be renewing with them...

I always had Foremost through Farmer's Ins. Had only 2 claims in the last 25 years. They paid in full both times.
