I have had to stop for this one a few times over the years. Going up the Indian Nation Turnpike, there was zero visibility on the road ahead of me. We stopped in the clear area till the wind shifted and moved the smoke off of the highway. Had an Oklahoma State Trooper blocking our way.
Was he smoking?
I don't remember if he was, but the whole west side of the INT was on fire.

so I was dragging my boat to the lake yesterday morning at o’dark thirty and something struck me funny… a sign illuminated by the headlights warning “Guard Rail Damage”… seen this sign for several months now, same spot… and first thing was fix it already !!! LOL…then it was like the purpose of the sign is to what, tell someone driving to find another guard rail to hit untill this one is fixed ?!?! as if thats a thing to do for fun… gee honey is your seat-belt fastened I’m gunna run into this guard rail for giggles… LOL Best Jerry Seinfeld voice - “And what’s the deal with these “Guard Rail Damage” signs?

your chances of winning a lawsuit are lessened if you’ve been warned This, plus those guardrail damage signs serve a secondary purpose - they cut down on unnecessary emergency calls. There are plenty of people who will call 911 to report the damage and/or report that they think there must be a car in a ditch nearby, etc., and every call like that requires a response. The sign lets people know the damage isn't new and the highway department knows about the damage.

Funniest sign I have seen at a damaged guardrail was one that simply said - "Parts Ordered"

This reminds me of the lady that complained about the “deer crossing” sign being too close to the city. They should move it outta town so the deer would be safer.
