What's your go to when it gets cooler in the summer after some rain blows in?

I usually don't change if what I was doing before keeps working. It can make the shallow bite better sometimes and can allow you to speed up and throw moving baits.

When do you plan to fish after rain?

I know it changes what ever pattern they are on. One of my favorite ways to chase these little green fish is fishing right during the middle of a rain storm; baring there is no lightning. Growing up in Louisisana I got to do that somewhat regularly. My experience has been what ever pattern they were on during or before the rain will be different afterward.

I look for a color change where rain water is coming in. worm, chatterbait, jig n craw and a lipless.

A couple of my best days on the water have been with a chatterbait during a Summer rain.

Hahaha. We had a brief cold front last week that brought some much needed rain to Austin. We need a lot more though.

Just as soon as summer shower passes on(not a thunderstorm)- head to the closest vegetation adjacent to deep water & throw a Lunker Lure & cover water.
