I recently switched to AT&T. got a better rate, and better coverage.

I had been with Verizon for years. Because they had better coverage for my area. Then about a year ago it got real bad. They kept saying 5G conversion was the cause. It'll get better in a couple of months.

Verizon has some extremely shady business practices that will forever prevent me from being a customer.

They want you on 5g for a reason friend.

AT&T just raised their rates on older plans too! May be time to check out Patriot Mobile.

ATT did on our older plan as well. We will try and give them a chance to give us a better plan if not maybe Spectrum. ATT is a huge company but if they keep screwing with customers enough many will find an alternative. We dropped them for internet for Spectrum and happy with that service. In the 2 years we have been with Spectrum only a couple of outages. They used to have tons more problems but I think they improved their infrastructure and now very few. We dropped the land line 2 years ago that was ATT if we drop the cell service for Spectrum or someone else I doubt I would ever utilize ATT again. Their customer service is the pits when we dropped them for home phone and internet they screwed up the billing cancellation so bad took about 3 months and tons of phone time to resolve.

It took me 6 months to cancel my landline. I emailed the Watchdog dude with the DMN. He hates ATT and rates their customer service the worst. I knew he had connections there and has met with the CEO. He got me a one time use number for a manager and she canceled it. At least Verizon is not telling you the phone upgrade is free like ATT does. ATT seems to think just because there is no down payment they can say it is free.

That's weird. I got a $25 a month rate reduction from Verizon a few months ago.

I got the exact same $12 increase notice. I want to get on ^that $25 reduction plan.

We left AT&T after 20 yrs. Service sucked, no deals to be had on phones, I went into the local AT&T store to inquire about something and they gave me [censored] about not wearing a mask. I literally drove across the shopping center to U.S. Cellular walked in unmasked and have been with them every since. Their service is great and their customer service is second to none. I now pay less for four lines with unlimited everything than I was paying for two lines with AT&T. We have since also all upgraded our phones to the newest iphone for the wife and kid and the newest Galaxies for me and my ranch hand, and it is still more cost effective.

Did you pay your phone off finally? Mine dropped $20 and it was because I’d paid the actual phone off.

Why?

Wifes friend has it, seriously thinking of switching. At&t just raised my rates. Looks like $30 a month cheaper.
