I can vouch for the Sam's Angus (Member's Mark) as well. Season well. There's a package by them that is "steak burger" and that's not bad either, just not as good as the Angus. One other thing - don't buy the first package you see - some are more fresh than others - look at the meat, it's pretty obvious.

Get the bigger, thicker ones. Worth the price.
Most importantly, Do No OVER COOK Them. Grill them until they are just barely getting done (little or no pink) then get them off the heat.
If not, they will turn into little shrunken hockey pucks. This ^^^^^ Sprinkle them with Uncle Chris Steak Seasoning and do not smash them. Flip once and get them off the heat. NEVER smash your meat boys. Not ever!

Smash burger is different, I cook them just like the video on a solid cooking surface.
If you’re grilling, open flame, you’re not making a smash burger. Don’t smash them.

The word "patties" grinds my gears, it's a horrendous word, whoever came up with that needs to be kicked in the nads, just call it a F'n hamburger ffs.

Smash burgers are the bomb.com. Ven/pork burgers are also the bomb.com. Frozen HEB thick n tasty burgers we eat too.

Frozen burgers is what I'll use this weekend. Put 'em straight on the grill hard as a rock.....only salt & peppa!
