Hit Lake Athens yesterday. The lake is at least 3 feet low and the fishing was poor. According to my fish finder on the tube the water temp was 91. All of my favorite slab spots were weeded up and all I took was dinks. I did some moving around and found a pod of fish in 15 ft of water and caught about 30 before the wind picked up. But all the fish at 15 ft were 5 and 6 inchers. Fun to catch but not the slabs I am used to catching.

Will try a few other spots in a few days.

Keep fishing and good things will happen! thumb

Side Note: Creek fishing has been pretty good and all the creeks I am fishing need a lot of RAIN! banana Rain Dance.

That's rough when you make the run out there and the fish don't cooperate, but that's fishing and the "rough" days make the good days better!
