Even for $1.99 Million, this property on a Columbia River island would be a fisherman’s paradise. The area is beautiful and the salmon, shad, steelhead and sturgeon fishing is some of the best in the world. The listing pics show the features of the house and buildings and they ain’t bad.

What is bad is that next door is the whacked out commie [censored] hole of Portland which used to be one of my favorite cities to stay in while I fished the Columbia and the coastal beaches. Now, you could not pay me enough to get off a plane at PDX. The beautiful downtown luxury shopping areas are still boarded up and the streets are full of a mixture of filthy homeless and deadly anarchists. It is worse than San Francisco, Seattle or Los Angeles. What a shame.

I guess if I could afford the price of the property I could afford to surround it with razor wire and have it patrolled by armed sentries. This is the America of our times.

My little bro lives there. He’s not a political guy but certainly leans left in his thoughts. We were talking yesterday and he is looking to get the hell out of there. Said the city is awful now vs 10 years ago. He’s looking to move to LA which to me is different toilette, same sh… but that’s his call. Last time I was there I couldn’t believe the amount of bums and trash in such a scenic place. Disgraceful.

You are right about it being next door to hell, it's way to close to a school.
