For me it's more about sun protection than anything else. This-I get the ones with hoodies, helps a ton .

Most of the shirts I wear are “dry fit”, not sure if it’s the same type of material or not. Never really considered whether or not they are cooler

I get some great fishing shirts from our local Goodwill.....and cargo shorts.

I have tried a bunch but nothing to me is as comfortable as a Simms Solarflex shirt to wear in the Texas sun. My favorite for sure. Protection while wade fishing. Collar protection for neck. Loops in sleeves to protect hands.

Try Game Guard….The old school collard micro fiber shirts are the best.
I’ve never tried the long sleeve stuff they make. They also have collared polyester blends that work the best in spring/fall.

They work pretty well if there's a breeze. If it's dead calm they make you hotter. Bingo

For me it's more about sun protection than anything else. This-I get the ones with hoodies, helps a ton . I like the Aftco Samurai hooded shirts. I'm not a big fan of sunscreen but I know that skin cancer is real.
