I interviewed once for a coaching job all the rest were word of mouth throughout the coaching community. I think my profession is quiet different than most.

If I recall correctly, you work at L-3 in Greenville.
Take my advice. You do not want to work for Raytheon.

I had one interview with Gas Monkey. They asked me if I knew what a palindrome was, and give an example. I said boob and they handed me some shirts. Lol.

That's hilarious

Good luck and dress like you would for an in person interview. Yes, you can half *** it, but that's what's wrong with our new America.

I suspect the zoom is a first interview, the second in person will be the real one.
Do some research on the company, asks thoughtful questions about the mission.

Same here. Was in Arkansas and got recruited for a job in Houston. The 426 mile drive was not to bad for a $13K pay raise.

Interview have really changed. When I got the job I have, it was an all-day, on-site interview for a job that paid around a third of what this one does. Now it's a half-hour chat on zoom...crazy!

I am going on an interview next week. The one big change in those half-hour chats that I have seen is they want to know what salary you are expecting. That should be one of the last questions.

Good luck with the interview! I did the investment banking deal for a bit and those interviews were tough as hell. They do everything they can to tear you down. The used car gig is much more fun.

I was surprised that wasn't asked.

Interview went pretty well except my internet was in and out, and started breaking up in some answers. Hopefully they don't hold it against me, but I would think twice about a guy not making sure he had good internet for a discussion like that.

Not sure if there is a follow-up interview on-site, or an offer, or nothing coming. Time will tell.
