Anyone have experience fly fishing White river tailrace below Bull Shoals? I'd like to bend an ear on options, guides, lodging, basic stuff.

I’ve been to the white only a couple of times now in early spring but have caught some nice 20-24inch fish. Most of the guys that go (more advanced than me) go to only throw streamers. It seems to be pretty pressured but if the flows are right, it gets pretty good.

Not sure when you are wanting to go but Kelly Neuman guides there from February through March only and has a pretty good package for lodge, meals and guide fees. https://michigan-streamside.com/guide-service/

I love the White River. We stay in a VRBO house right down from Gastons. I know a great guide service if your interested. This is from one of my trips. https://texasfishingforum.com/forum...0080/great-day-on-the-white#Post13180080

Matt Milner, Matt Stinett or Jeremy Gilmer at Rising River Guides. The best.

I have been below table rock but most of it fishes the same. Scuds, San Juan worms, sculpin patterns, wooly buggers, and midges are pretty much all you need.
