What cases do you guys use to store your graphs at home or when you are staying at the lake? I have a Helix 12, Garmin 10 and a Garmin 9. Looking for something to store them all in that is padded. I’m using a large laptop bag, but it will only store the two Garmin units. Just looking for ideas.

I was struggling with the same thing. I have 3 Carbon 12's. I looked at all kinds of things and realized I had what I needed all along. I had an extra tactical soft case for a tactical rifle and all three fit perfectly end to end. Works great.

Academy has large hard shell gun boxes with foam padding. They fit (2) 12" and (2) 9" Lowrance units. Just cut the foam to fit.

Interesting topic. I put my 2 garmins in a fairly thin drawstring nylon travel bag and keep them locked in the locker behind the driver's seat where I keep all my life vests. They each have their own bag. They basically lay in there with padding from the vests and I have never had an issue with damage with the covers intact and the units in these bags.

The only draw back is the looks you get when you carry the case to the motel room.

Be careful with putting them in gun cases and leaving them in the truck. The bad guys will see them while parked at the boat ramp and break into your truck thinking they are guns and steal them. Ask me how I know that?

I use some Harbor Freight padded plastic/foam storage boxes, but the tactical rifle case sounds like it might well be the ticket....👍 ...

My bug unfortunately has built in units but I normally store my units in the top of my closet. I haul them to the lake in the cab of my truck and put them on while I'm prepping the boat for launch. When I trailer the boat and prep for the trip back home they go back in the cab of the truck and then back in the closet when I get home. As long as I did that; through the years, I never had one ounce of trouble out of my electronics. Before next spring I'm either going to up grade everything on the boat with a" boat in the box system"; including trolling motor, or I'm going to sell the boat "as is" and order a new one with everything on it. If I order a "boat in a box set up" everything will be gimbal or dash bracket mounted, no built ins. I'll replace all the panels that have been cut in as well.

I guess I’ve never understood this topic. I just set mine on my back seat on way to the lake and back. Store them face down on the back seat or floor and on table if I’m overnight somewhere. Am I missing something? I’d love to learn if I am. Please advise.

I use a Walmart milk crate for two 12" Helix and a Garmin 1022. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2022/06/full-14056-144092-20220625_171234.jpg)
