Can anyone recommend a good guide for Travis? I have some friends coming in from Louisiana and staying around around Austin. Asked me if I knew anyone or if I would come take them out, but Ive never fished it, so a guide is what they are looking for.

Whited would be the guy. I would consider Buchanan also Stripers and whites would be the deal. If your looking for largemouth or smallmouth it'll probably be tough on Travis.

BC results shows this. https://www.basschamps.com/results.cfm?tournament_id=362&type=team&yearSelected=2022

I've done a couple of guided trips on Lake Travis. My favorite guide is Ray Tomasits https://www.hcbasscoach.com/

I have fished with Tyler. Really knows the lake and seems to always be on the fish.

Tell em not to get their hopes up too high for Travis. Lots of dinks. 16 pounds wins lots of tourneys there. Are you coming with em? I live real close to Travis.

Not sure if they are there for business of what. But they had a free day or two, so they really dont care. They just want to fish.

Ander Meine another good option. He's out there regularly and Decker. He's in better quality at Decker with some 40-50 fish days
