Very cool, my folks were the indoor type. I found the outdoors on my own and actually had my dad fishing some in his latter years

I was destined to love fishing and the outdoors. My mom started into labor with me while she and my dad were at a lake fishing. Thanks to both of them. Thanks for the pic Beartrap for the reminder.

Fortunately I came from a family that liked to fish. Dad would put the 3 HP Johnson and poles in the trunk of the car and we would head to the lake. Once there, they would rent 2 row boats. One for my Dad, Mom and sister and the other for my brother and I. Once we got to a spot, Dad disconnected the tow chain from our boat and we rowed to our fishing spot. We would spend an entire day fishing and then stay up late cleaning fish. I had just as much fun catching fish then as I do now. It's just now I have creature comforts.
