Whataburger was the sticker shock for me.

Can eat at a lot of restaurants for less than two Whataburgers, fries, and coke.

I remember when our 2 KFC 3-piece meals came to $3.14 (my father expected the usual $2.89) and my father said: "I'll never darken this doorway again!"

I just wonder what he'd think of all this now . . .

Pissed me off because I prefer Braums which is 100 yds away and the same sandwich is $2.39.

I hope they got a good look at my butt on the way out

If I splurge. It’s Braums bacon egg and cheese biscuit

I know it is not the same but for years I have bought a small Brookshire's sugar free iced tea to drink on the way home from shopping. It was for many years .99 cents. Yesterday it was $1.29. Guess I'll quit doing that. It's not really the cost but the principal, a 30% increase in a small, iced tea?

Braums Hamburgers are the best.

They are just made with a higher quality of beef, you can taste it.

You can make better, healthier and cheaper food at home. I'm sure glad I'm no longer a road warrior.

There's probably a good number of people here who didn't live thru the Carter years. This is worse IMO.

This is going to be much worse than Carter

Carter was just dumb and he loved this country. Carter was still a better president than this treasonous corrupt liberal nut
