Pretty sure if you go over there to fight you better be willing to do whatever it takes to not get captured alive. I bet they already wish they were dead. Maybe…but these are low value military intelligence captures. I would expect they will be detained and used as pawns when Putins thinks the time is right. thats exactly what these jackasses will become. US will have to release true threats to national security and give up russian spies....so we can get 2 jackasses who got too caught up in the media fervor, and got themselves captured can walk free. If any American goes over there to fight and not active duty then you are a Mercenary. You knew the risk and accepted it. America has no obligation to rescue you

Russia captured some British ex-soldiers and they have been sentenced to Death. each of our actions have consequences.The middle of a Russian invasion with their track record doesnt seem like a time to go play war games because it "feels" like the right thing to do. If that is your choice however, be prepared for the ramifications. This isnt fun and games....lots of Ukranians and Russians have died, you dont get "diplomatic immunity" as a US Citizen because youre in the mood to shoot at people, and feel right about it. I put "feel" in quotes....because these dudes arent Ukranian. They went over there purely off feels. They have no allegiance to Ukraine by blood or anything like that. I hate when people oversimplify things with this phrase....but...."play stupid games, win stupid prizes" Sounds like they suck at war. You can't be a Merc. LOL Ive heard LOADS of stories about blackwater and those other merc groups working over seas...i dont remember any of the stories about them being captured tho 🤷♂️

If they wanted spy’s released they’d be using that dude Brittany Griner as leverage, not a couple of foot soldiers that traveled to fight on their own accord.

I thought maybe they had gone to fight for the money, but maybe that was not the main reason. I feel sorry for them and bet they wish they had just stayed home at this point.
