We are headed to Isla Mujeres in a couple of weeks for an adult vacation. Anything we need to see or places we must eat?

I stayed there a number of times years ago before it was really developed. Back then it had more of the flavor of Mexico. I'm sure it has changed quite a bit.

I have snorkeled around the statue, kinda scary. We are shallow water snorkelers and it got real deep and dark around there. We got out cause, well, I don’t like really deep water.

Rent a golf cart and you can drive around the whole Island. Great place....

Rent a golf cart and you can drive around the whole Island. Great place.... There you go... we rented a car out of Cancun and they gave us a WiFi module. That was awesome. We were able to GPS the island and travel by golf cart. Trip Advisor reviews as well as local word and it was fantastic. From the ferry drop off the best beach is in the far left hand corner walking out of the ferry drop off pier.

We have a golf cart rented for the 5 days we are there. I'm determined to find the best taco and margarita on the island. Will report our findings

Been several times, much better than cancun. We do a golf cart drive around the island and stop at All the bars for a drink, takes most of a day...great time.

When you get off the ferry, rent a golf cart as fast as you can and go the right! A whole bunch of bars that way and several had some really good cover bands going to go along with some really cold beer. We just visited for a day while we were in Cancun last year and it was a great time. Yes I was DUI on a golf cart and it was fun as hell!
