I'm not on fb and dont plan to be but I have got wind of a paddle race in dfw. I'm an old man now but am really thinking it may be a good time. Anyone have any details? My stealth is mad at me for lack of use.

Go get em Christian! Hopefully it's a very short sprint and not a multi mile race.. I hate having to stop paddling to light up in a long race. Since SUPs are included (stand up paddle) boards be prepared to get your hiney kicked... especially if there is flat water and no wind. Would never have thought it until there was a race in south Florida where the paddle board dude won it.. 2 mile race. I wasn't in it but was watching for the results. Also since there was no mention of kayak fishing boats only, I would suspect there will be plenty of well conditioned sit in side kayakers that will have the advantage in that department. My racing days are over... only beaten once by a hobie pedaler, a couple of other times by much younger paddlers.

I'm bettin' on your Stealth! There's another BTB offshore gathering in Padre June 25th. You and it should be among the 125+ wanna-bees signed up for that. I'd like to see a video of the "Lemans Start" at 7 AM. Get healed up! IslandJim
