I thought this place was supposed to be good again, top of the leaderboard are only catching around 10 keepers a day and many of them have hook holes in them . That place must get hammered.

The NPFL was there 10 days ago. Very hard to catch keeper fish right now.

Talked with several locals while I was there, all said basically the same thing. The fish are in a transition stage, from post spawn to off shore ledges. The fish were scattered and hard to find per Wesley, M. Neal ,John Murray, etc. The ledge pattern was non existent. They said come back in 2-3 weeks and it will be on. I was with KVD on Monday and when he says he was "junk" fishing, that's pretty much what happened. Fished 12-15 different spots from all depths, crankbaits, jerkbaits, flipping, bridge pilings, brush piles, rocks, name it, he tried it. Can't imagine that lake getting too much pressure, there are 9 million brush piles over about 65 miles, yup that's crazy, but true, not to mention the river ledges, don't think that place fishes small.
