Curious what people are actually paying per kWh after taxes and fees. In the last 12 months, mine ranged from a low 8.8 cents to a high of 13.8 cents on the last bill.

Bill for May with Southwest Power and Light. I signed a 3 year contract 2 years ago. In June of 2023 when this expires I'm hosed, unless some things get fixed in Washington.

Last bill was $101.53 total including all taxes and fees.1071 Kilowatt hrs. that's 9.48 cents per, My contract was up last month so I am expecting that to double going forward.

I have used energy Ogre for the 5-6 yrs and am pleased with their results.

My residential account is at a "rate" of ~7.5 cents/kwh. But after averaging all the fees, taxes, etc., my price is about 13.4 cents.

My office account . . . heh. The "rate" is ~6.1 cents/kwh. Again, after all the fees and [censored] added on, my price is as high as 43.9 cents. The more electric usage, the lower the rate - my Feb bill was at the 43 cent price, and my most recent summer bill was at about 18.4 cents.

Needless to say, my office bill is almost always higher than my house bill, even with far more electricity consumption in the house. Both accounts are with Reliant.

I’m at .09 and still had a $195 bill this month because my wife sets the thermostat to ball sack cold all the time.

Been using Energy Ogre for several years and I've been very happy with them up until now, but this time I'm disappointed. They switched me to PowerNext, in May, as my previous provider, V247 Power went out of business. My rate jumped from 10 cent kWh to 17.2 cents kWh. By the time you add the $10 a month Energy Ogre charges, they didn't get me into any better of a plan than what I could have found myself,

I have always been able to match or beat OGRE. Add the $10 fee and they are not worth it. Takes me about 15 minutes to pull up Power To Choose and pick one. I will check rates from time to time and if I see something lower I will do a quick payback calculation on the cost to switch. Right now in this market there is no sense for me to even look at rates. Neighbor just renewed with Ogre. They signed him up for a 1 year plan because they anticipate rates to go down next year. I hope they are right.

Commercial?
That comes out to just over 2 cent per KWH. You are the winner, no ones going to beat this rate.
I assume there's more to this story.

$70! That wouldn’t cool my bedroom! Much less the house. You guys got it made!

I got the same deal from them 17.2 cents from Powernext. Last year they sent me offers to select from. This year they just renewed it. I think I could have done the same or better on my own. At least I would have saved $10 a month.
