Stopped at Murphy Mart last week. I was going in so I parked in a regular parking spot. There was a car parked about 5' from gas pumps blocking pumps and almost the door. I came out and there was another car there blocking the pumps and obviously not getting gas because cap was on the wrong side. I walk into Wal Mart with some plastic bags to recycle and the bin is half full of trash including cans. States right on the front for soft plastics only. A couple of days ago I decide to use my Murphy Mart discount and top off my tank. There is a young women in front of me with her gas cap cover popped open. I was thinking OK she I'd going to get out and pump gas. I start the pump walk in the store, come out and she is still in her vehicle. The last gallon takes some time because of the cutoff for the discount. I finish and she is still sitting in her vehicle. Phone was up on the dash and she seemed to be looking down. I give her a quick toot and no response. I drive by in front of her and give her another toot and the middle finger salute. Now I have to back out and there is a truck parked in the fire lane about 10 steps from a parking spot. He is blocking my view in one direction when I back up. Rant over.

Yes sir. I feel your pain!

I refuse to go to Walmart.

Where I live, that is the typical WalMart/Murphy situation summed up perfectly.

For 2-4 cents a gallon more, I can go to the shell station that's only a couple hundred feet away if Murphy looks like a flustercluck in the making.
Only thing is, Murphy can go from 2 clear lanes open to getting hemmed in at the pump from both ends for 10 minutes in a matter of seconds.

I get mad too, but try not to flip people off. (anymore). I'm not going to say I learned that the hard way but let's just say I lucked out of what could have been really bad. Not worth someone getting killed over.

About 3-4 times a week I have to stop myself from going full Costanza!

If you join Walmart + you get 10 cents a gallon off every time without the 20 gallon limit-

WalMart sucks. I avoid it at all costs.

That should be expected. You live in a suburb of Dallas. I don't go to Murphy anymore because of the lines unless it is before 7am. The wife and I buy gas at shell our Citi bank points me $.50 off at the pump. After the discount, it is the same price as murphy.

It’s just in the DFW area. Go outta the metro area and it’s not as bad. Still not great, but not as bad.

Pretty good rant about not sweeping grass clippings going on now. The parents parking in front of people's houses for 10 minutes is a major topic as well. Seems turning sprinkler heads towards the street and setting them to go off at pick up time is the agreed upon action...

And these people feel like they are the respectful ones being wronged...you know people are legally parking on a public street and all. For up to 10 minutes a day!! The nerves.

Are any of those sprinkler pointers prone to also call the police and make a complaint if they catch one of those 10 minute people parking in the street with their vehicle pointed the wrong direction?
