I first met Billy at the TFF guide tournament in 2014. At that time, he was a beer salesman and didn’t have a boat. He told me his PB was 8 lbs and he caught it trolling a senko behind a row boat while paddling his kid around a pond. He did not strike me as much of a fisherman, but did generally seem like a nice guy. He had booked several trips with Pack and Grills by that time and had been spending a decent amount of time hanging around Fork. Fast forward like a year and he had bought a boat (Pack’s I believe), moved to Fork, was guiding and YouTubing. It all just very much seemed rushed and like a fake it until you make it thing. I had moved overseas, but by the time I got back in 2018, he was generally reviled by all the people I liked at Fork.

If he has any sense at all, he’s waking up this morning with the absolute worst feeling of dread and thinking to himself, what did I do and how can I fix it? If he doesn’t have any sense, well, I guess it will be just like he said in the video - there is always drama at Lake Fork and he’s always in the middle of it.
It’s a sad thing when everyone can see someone start to spiral out of control and the person circling the drain can’t.

He walked into the clubhouse at Lands' End totally drunk with some friends. The staff refused to serve him. He starts screaming and making a scene. On one wall is a large framed tapestry for the Patriot Sporting Challenge. Over the past 5 years, this unique fishing/golfing/shooting event held here has raised over $400,000 for the Folds of Honor, which gives $5,000 scholarships to children who have lost a parent in the military.
He walks over and rips it off the wall, screaming you people are not veterans and are all #@(!. The organization is run by mostly all veterans who are strictly volunteers. Walks out with it, despite some staff and customers trying to intervene.
This defines the character of this guy. Lands' End pressed charges.

What did he do to Livesay? Was he the one sitting on Livesays spot? He went out and video'd and posted on youtube Lee's spots the first night of the Elite series. I'm not a Billy supporter and I watched Billy's videos, so maybe I missed something. BASS Live provided more info on Lee's spot as well as every other pro's spot. I don't know Fork very well and I watched BASS Live, pulled up my Navionics and Google Earth and pin pointed those locations. I find Billy amusing and he is always in the middle of drama, but he seems to go out of his way to be respectful to the pro's and didn't exactly disclose any info that was already ready known. Just my 2 cents. Ive said that before and got flamed for it. I agree as well, bass live doesnt keep anything a secret and if you know how to look at a map, its not hard to figure out. That being said im not defending the guy, just stating the obvious Agree 100%. People at Fork don't like him and I understand why. With that said it's not hard to find out where any of the guys that end up on Live are fishing. Especially when you combine the Bass Live location information with the info Lee himself gave on live that first morning. Doesn't take much to stir up drama between those that already have history with one another.

You guys are missing the whole point of this bass live [censored]. It’s not live tv vs YouTube. It’s the fact he went out and followed him and posted it the first night of the tournament after Lee was leading. Now his competitors can see right where he’s fishing. Let people figure it out watching it live. That’s fine. I don’t think Lee or anyone else has a problem with that. But show Lee some damn respect and stay off his [censored] til the tournaments over.
But that’s why Billy has all the hate out there besides from the obvious. He shows nobody respect out there.

Man, was I fooled by this guy. I have been watching him for a while on You Tube. I don't live near the circus that is Lake Fork so I guess I never knew about him being in the middle of a lot of drama up there. One day he is interviewing Hack and G Man coming off the stage and the next he is trying to keep his cellmate Dexter away from him. I am not one to pile on. The guy was "at least" hustling to make a buck or two and that is a lot more than I can say about a lot of people. Still, ya gotta have more sense than that. Sounds like he may need some help getting away from the Devil's Nectar and I hope he figures it out.
Everything on your bass boat is broken......You just don't know it yet.
