Has anyone converted a full handle to a split?
Know anyone that could do this?
Thanks

I have attempted. It was not good. I did not steam off the original handle, but I imagine it can be done correctly

It can be done....but the rod under the cork may be unfinished or have glue on it. You may need to do some cleanup. Also consider that where you remove the cork the balance changes and you will need to smooth the / seal the cork or it gets brittle.
