Surface water temperature 83 degrees, Winds started out at 7 to 12 mph out of the Northeast, water clarity good. We started at daylight and caught 3 good trout, a Big Ugly, and a Huge Stingray on Down South soft plastics. We moved around several times, with a few small trout along the way. The winds shifted out of East around 9am, which allowed us to fish some other areas and it paid off big time. We made a move to the reefs around 11am, and the winds stopped completely, and it was consistent action until we decided to call it a day, with limits of Speckled Trout.
All in all, a great day to enjoy God’s Beauty and fellowship on Galveston Bay.
Until Next Time – Captain Jeff Brandon
