Any recommendations for a hybrid guide on Phantom? Gonna be there first part of next week for Highschool Finals Rodeo and Tuesday have a dead day.
Thx

That's the only guide I've ever seen on FPH. I've never fished with him but I've seen him and his clients loading the boat

Brandon, I was just out there on Lake Stamford, over the Memorial day weekend. The wind blew 25-45 mph all weekend, even at night. I drug my boat out there from Sulphur Springs but only fished twice for a total of about 4-5 hours. My map card was not accurate at all. I had planned to try Lake Ft. Phantom Hill, but with the wind I decided not to go and fight the wind. I may go back out there July 4th weekend and give it another shot, but I doubt I'll drag my boat out there with $5 a gallon gas. Keith

Who was the guy that used to post all the pics of FPH hybrids? Had a CC boat. I don't think he was a guide but I would dang sure try to hire him. I searched back for a year and didn't find any posts. Can't remember his handle. And I for sure hope that something didn't happen to him and I missed it!

That was probably Timmychanga. I think he quit the forum. I know heโs still around but I never see him at the lake anymore.

There are a couple guys guiding on Phantom now. One of them is Slime and Scales or something like that. I have not seen Respect the Fish on Phantom in a long time. Last post I saw of his was on Hubbard Creek. I think he is busy with his day job and not fishing as much as he used too?? Wind has made fishing Phantom miserable lately. A south wind just blows right up the length of the lake and there are not many places to tuck in out of the wind.

sorry, just now seeing your post. The only one I know of is Clay Lohse: https://www.respectthefishguideservice.com/ I've never met him, but I know he's the man for Phantom hybrids. I think he may even live in Abilene. I've seen posts from that Timmychanga guy, and he's pretty awesome too, but I don't think he guides.
