Main lake timber and brush continues to produce on LOP. I would focus around 20’ with small hands ties or minnows. 1/8oz purple and chart has been great. Same goes for Palestine. Palestine I’m fishing more timber and even some docks still. Docks will fade out as the water warms but the timber is starting to load up. I’ve been throwing 1/4oz jigs in ginger truce and bad Shad and black and chart when the wind blows and sizing down to 1/8oz when the winds lay. I’ve got a few days open in July and August if folks really wanna get out! I’m gonna focus more on my insurance the next couple months but my schedule is booking up for fall. Fall is great and one of my favorite times to fish! If you want to beat the heat and fill the freezer holler at me and get you a fall date. Sept and Oct are booking fast seeing how we’re gone half of both those months for tournaments. Jenko 11’ Kevin Rogers rods ans 7’ Tricks sticks are doing all the damage. If you haven’t shot docks with a trick stick your missing out. You can get way more distance than with a 5-6’ rod and have backbone to pull fish off pilings when they wrap around em! Shout out to David with Shut up and Fish as well! I couldn’t stay out in my big boat all day in the winds we’ve had without lithium batteries! They might not be needed for most folks but they sure make my life easier!

Holler if you wanna brave the summer heat or get on the books for fall!
