I had some paper registration numbers on my boat temporarily. Of course water washed off the colored part and left the paper and glue. What's the best to remove without harming the gelcoat? Thank you

Good Gone or alcohol has worked for me on stickers on my boat. I keep a bottle of 90% alcohol on my work bench.

Acetone, used in all fiberglass shops, make quick work of the adhesive left behind... I just took all the “warning stickers” that came on my boat, drove me nuts ! All common sense stuff anyway... so took the hair dryer to them to loosen the adhesive and pull off the decals, then a quick wipe with the acetone followed by some wax and wallah... careful it will damage paint and stuff, so keep it on the gelcoat !
