Okay, I tied up some coyotes: ![[Linked Image]](https://lastcastpodcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/coyoteflies.jpg) I cut off some beetle spinners and used thread and epoxy to keep the swivel pointing off the hook. I've only had the chance to use it on small creeks so far, but the little greens like it ![[Linked Image]](https://lastcastpodcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/greensunfish-coyote.jpg) It's got some nice flash as it falls, and on the retrieve. I think this will be good this weekend when I fish a lake with more water to work.

I have found that the coyote works best in stained water conditions of creeks and rivers... this year for me it's been early spring whitebass fishing mostly..

Thinking I want to throw this up close on an oyster reef for a bluetail. Fine looking Redfish fly, even if it wasn't designed with that in mind.
