Water level -5.60 below full pool, surface temp 73-74 last Thursday. We’ve been bouncing between an offshore bite during hot weather trends and catching them in shallow water, 6- 10.5 ft., duriing cooling trends. The C-Rig has done the heavy lifting on the offshore bite on humps and points in 16-25 ft with a 3/0 Owner Rig-N-Hook and a Texposed rigged V&M Pork Shad 2.0 in Gleason’s Candy and Outlaw Magic.
During cooling trends, we’ve targeted bass around secondary points and back of spawning pockets, next to stumps and docks, with jigs. Some Topwater action early and afternoon around hard clay or shell bed points.

Thanks for the report, I fished yesterday and don't think I got a bite the whole time I was there; about 5 hours. I spent most of it fishing in 5 to 7 feet of water. The last hour I went deep with a c rigged french fry and it came back stripped back once but I never felt anything. I threw a crankbait for a little while too and nothing. I think deep water humps is where I'll be the rest of the summer.

I mean, they just had about 40 hours of live coverage of some of the best fisherman in the country fishing the lake. Shouldn’t be much guess work right now.
