The guy has gotten more hate from the jealous guys, so he has been more on the defensive lately. But I don’t blame the guy.

As far as people not liking him, everyone I know that has ran into him personally has had nothing but good things to say about him.

Looking at this pic there are two sets of scratches, short scratch look like when he unloaded and long scratch where he loaded. You can see where it was resting in the bracket, look like it may have fell out and rode that way for a while.

Sounds like lack of maintenance on your part. I have never lost a roller just because it fell off the trailer in over 50 years of owning a boat.

You are a brave man. As soon as I would make a comment like that, I’d surely lose mine on the next trip.

Don’t know what maintenance has to do with a bolt snapping while going down the road.

Had had just posted a video of how terrible the roads were in Oklahoma, could have easily happened on his way to Texas and he didn’t notice.

I do agree that the marks indicate he likely put some miles on the boat with it resting on the bracket, doubt very seriously he was sabotaged.

That is something I need to replace on my trailer. I noticed last time I was cleaning it the nose roller seems to be coming apart.

Josh Jones is related to Jerry Jones... Josh and Jerry think the same way.. Publicity whether good or bad keeps people talking about you.

On my new Skeeter Built trailer, it is installed with with a 1/2” Grade 8 bolt and a Grade 8 Nyloc nut.

…..Come to think of it, my old trailer was the same way

…..thinking further, My old cheap [censored] Nitro had a Grade 8 1/2” bolt as well.

I’m not sure that a breaking of that bolt, or loosening, would EVER happen during the service life of the trailer. It’s practically the STRONGEST bolt on the trailer.

Just sayin

I’ve lost 2 myself. It’s bad welding that caused mine.

He maybe a great guy but there is no way he did not notice it missing when he put his boat on the trailer night or day
unless he notice it missing and decide to put it on the trailer anyway he did not state it that way
he said he did not notice it missing which is so hard to believe it would be like missing a front tire or your steering wheel
Somethings are just not over looked plus you would have to know him personally to know that was his truck and trailer
that would have to be a very small group of people just cause your a local does mean you should be a suspect.

You either have to know him personally, or have eyes to know its his truck. thats the only possible ways to know which truck is his. Know him personally, or maybe possibly have the ability of vision/decent eyesight.
