what do ya'll say is the best lake around for getting a frog bite? I have not really been on a good one in a couple years..

Last weekend, I caught em there on a frog from 6-2. All day. This past Saturday, they wouldn’t even swirl at it. Caught them on a wacky senko, shaky head, and punching mats. I’d swear those fish only eat top water on overcast days at that lake. Any hint of sun, And ya gotta go grass draggin.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

Mark does tawakoni have grass??? I don't fish it but maybe once ever 5 years.. There usually is a ton of shoreline grass, some pads and even some matted vegetation in some areas. I usually fish it a bunch but have not been there since early April. There was not much then but I would think its come in by now.

I would round up all your buddies and go beat up on them Athens fish Buddy caught his PB on Athens with a frog at around noon time in the summer (8.5lbs) our first time up there Still tells me he'll never go back. Over pressured and didn't live up to the hype. I didn't care too much for it myself. Guess you gotta know what you're doing on that water hole
